Archbishop Michael Byrnes has accepted the invitation by Pope Francis, to join him and the Church worldwide in consecration of Russia and Ukraine.
The pope will pronounce the Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary 5:00 P.M. Friday, March 25 in St Peter's Basilica, Rome. The act of consecration will be performed in communion with the local Churches throughout the world.
In Guam, Archbishop Byrnes will make the prayer at 2:00 A.M. (Chamorro Standard Time) on Saturday, March 26, at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica.
Prior to the Act of Consecration, the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 A.M. and the Sacrament of Confession will be available.
All the faithful of the Archdiocese of Agana are invited to come and join Archbishop Byrnes and implore God, through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, for His grace and mercy upon Ukraine and Russia.
The Holy Rosary and Consecration will also be live-streamed at the Cathedral-Basilica website aganacathedral.org, the Agana Cathedral Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.
